Well, here it is, Hannah's website, where all her loyal and ardent fans can come and find out that she is not what they thought she was.
I am a 16 year old psuedo-Mennonite.
I live in a semi-rural town in NW Montana, although I wish I had been born 300 years ago in Switzerland. Oh well, I'm going to make the best of it anyway. My hobbies include sewing, piano, sculpting, drawing funny and thought-provoking cartoons, crocheting, knitting, and making movies with my best friend. Before I go any further, maybe you should have some background.
I am of Switzer-Deustch ancestry, and a 12th generation American. My many-greats grandfather Hans Herr came to America in 1709 with his wife, Elizabeth. The Herr family has been recognized since 1006, when one of them (my grandma has the info) was knighted. In the 1450's, the Herrs renounced their knighthood, and became part of the Waldensian group. From there, they gradually became Mennonites. They faced persecution in the 1500-1600's, and Hans decided to immigrate to America. So, I guess the nutshell version of this prologue of my life is that I come from a long line of peaceful dirt farmers.
As you probably have guessed, I am enthralled with my heritage, and my theological beliefs follow suit. Some of these can be found on scrollpublishing.com and bibleviews.com. Basically (beside the super basic stuff) I am of the anabaptist persuasion that the taking up of arms for the purpose of killing for the defense of oneself or one's country violates God's law, which we should strive to keep. I also believe that the practice of infant baptism is not in accordance with the true baptism of saints, and that the transubstanciation of Christ's body and blood at the Communion table is, in short, non-existant. It's just a symbol folks, not the real thing. Other than that, my main beliefs (ones that span denominations) include the Biblical modesty, and God's plan for family involvement in church and community. I also believe that all consciencious Christians should homeschool their children, to further their interest in God's kingdom. I see the list is growing, so I'll try to write up a page soon with everything.
